A reflector antenna uses a shaped reflective surface, typically parabolic, to collect and focus electromagnetic waves onto a feed at the focal point, or to direct energy from the feed into a narrow, high-gain beam. This geometry enables high directivity and gain, making reflector antennas ideal for satellite communications, radar, and long-distance point-to-point links.
